Eugene Seroka has recently been appointed Vice President Middle East & Africa for the NOL Group and its subsidiaries APL and APL Logistics. He will be based in Dubai.

Beginning in October 2005, Gene served as the Vice President of APL Logistics Ltd located in Singapore, responsible for the logistics business in the Asia/Middle East & South Asia region. Previously, Gene was the Managing Director of PT. APL and APL Logistics Indonesia. Domiciled in Jakarta, Gene was responsible for all liner and logistics business throughout the archipelago from June 2003 to Oct 2005.

Gene has been with APL all his working life. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of New Orleans in 1986, he went on to gain an MBA from the same University in 1988. Upon graduation he immediately began working for APL as a sales support representative in the Company’s Cincinnati office. He has served in a variety of roles in the sales management and marketing fields, in assignments throughout the United States, before his posting to Shanghai in 1999, where he was the Director of Sales and Marketing for APL (China) Company Ltd.
