Hassan El-Zein has been graduated from Alexandria University in 1972 with Bachelor of Commercial Sciences in Finance. He has started his practical career in Egypt in 1976 working for few international companies such as Kenting Earth Sciences Ltd., Shell Egypt, Caterpillar Egypt until 1979, when he immigrated to Australia.

Mr. El-Zein joined Queensland University in Brisbane, Australia for Costing & Managerial Accounting Studies with emphasis on financial analysis as a scientific basis for management decision-making.

In 1983, Mr. El-Zein came to Saudi Arabia and joined few international Companies in several senior management positions including the General Manager to King Fahad Ship Repair Yard in Dammam Port started in 1989 when he starts his relation with ports.

In September 2001, Mr. El-Zein became the Chief Executive Officer / General Manager of International Ports Services Company Ltd. He has joined The Maritime Company For Navigation on 1st February 2008 as a Senior Director looking after ports management & development division.
