Jakob Hansen is a Danish national and currently Senior Director for Maersk Line in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen. He has more than 29 years of experience in shipping and graduate from the A.P. Moller - Maersk Shipping Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr. Hansen also holds a business degree in international business from Copenhagen Business School. He has worked as country manager in a number of countries including Kuwait, Thailand, Bangladesh and Venezuela.

He is currently based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
