Jörn-Ulrich Steusloff is a Senior Port Consultant with more than 30 years of professional experience in the shipping and port industry. He has carried out consultancy assignments in the Middle-East, Europe, Asia and Africa. His work emphasizes on aspects related to port operations and the privatization of port services.

Starting his career as master mariner, Mr. Steusloff gained experience in cargo handling, ship brokerage, port operation and management. As Senior Port Expert he was responsible team leader for various projects in overseas countries. Later he became project manager responsible for various long-term technical assistance projects. His experience includes work assignments related to port and terminal operations, organization, commercialization and privatization in a diversity of countries Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, China, Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and Russia.

He is specialized in port operations and the development of port laws and regulations, tender documents, private sector service contracts for container terminals and stevedoring, equipment maintenance and repair, staff training, environment protection.
