Peter Verwaerde is a Senior Consultant HPC Antwerp Port Consultancy in Belgium. He is also a Guest Professor at APEC-Antwerp/Flanders Training v.z.w. and a General Manager of VP-consult b.v.b.a. Mr. Verwaerde has extensive experience in maritime navigation and vessel traffic management. He has been providing advice to the management of the Port of Antwerp Authority in the area of port organisation and procedures. Mr. Verwaerde has received a number of assignments in different countries in the world, including in Saudi Arabia where he took part in the future extension of Jeddah Islamic Port and the transform of Saudi Arabia into a logistic hub.
